Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling - well:skin Clinic

Introducing Morpheus8

The lowdown: Radiofrequency microneedling has become one of the most popular non-surgical treatments for rejuvenation in the last year, and the star of the show is Morpheus8.

The cutting-edge device-based treatment from Inmode combines the powerhouses of radiofrequency (also known as RF) skin tightening with collagen-boosting microneedling for one supercharged treatment that takes results to the next level.

You only need to Google “Judy Murray OBE”, and you will see pictures of the tennis coach’s incredible non-surgical facelift, a transformation that is accredited for the most part to Morpheus8 and which made it one of the most talked about devices of 2021/2022.

Morpheus8 is what’s known as a “subdermal adipose remodelling device” (SARD). It is designed for remodelling and contouring of the face and body and allows us to perform “fractional skin resurfacing” to treat lax skin, fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, and even stretch marks at the same time as boosting collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin and treating subdermal fat to address things like double chins.

Moprheus8 is safe for all skin types, including VI, with little risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), something that is common with other resurfacing methods.

It also has low downtime without compromising on results, which is why it has become such a trending treatment.

You may be a little bit red, and pinpricks could be visible on the skin for 24 hours afterwards. The procedure carries minimal risks and takes an hour or less for a full face and neck.
